You never like to see your young arms having injury problems but Josh Johnson took a step back in his recovery from being shut down at the end of last year because of a forearm injury. Just a couple of days ago, Johnson was having discomfort in his tricep although there’s no word on what will be done about it.
Johnson was pretty awesome in his time with the Marlins in 2006. He had a 3.10 ERA and he struck out 133 in 157 innings. And when you combine it with the problems Anibal Sanchez has been having, it makes for some problems heading into spring training.
