At least they figured out what was wrong with Josh Johnson and I guess it could have been a lot worse. The right handed starter will miss at least two months with “ulnar nerve irritation” but he won’t need surgery. Johnson broke out in 2006 and had he threw enough innings, he would have been right there with Brandon Webb for the league lead in ERA and he struck out 133 in 157 innings. Now we just have to hope he’ll come back healthy and not miss a beat.
