Hanley Ramirez, Dan Uggla and Robert Andino all hit their second homerun of the season as the Marlins took care of the Nationals 10-7. It was the Marlins third win in the past four games and Ramirez had a particularly good game as he continues his hot start to the season. He went three for five with a double, the homerun, three RBIs and two runs.
Andrew Miller was roughed up again and while he didn’t take the loss, he didn’t get the win. He gave up six runs on eight hits and one walk with three strikeouts in 3 1/3 innings. Renyel Pinto picked up the win with 2 2/3 shutout innings and Kevin Gregg picked up the save with a shutout ninth.
Scott Olsen gets the start tonight. I know it’s early, but another win would guarantee that the Marlins keep their one game lead in the NL East.
