Dallas Trahern didn’t even last his two innings as he was knocked around for two runs on four hits and three walks. Most of the damage came in the second inning and it would have been even worse had not Justin Miller came in to get the Marlins out of their jam. From that point on, seven relievers combined to throw seven shutout innings to finish the game up.
John Baker finished the game with a walk off RBI single. It was a minor miracle that the Marlins won this one because they picked up just three hits in the entire game.
Scott Olsen gets the start tomorrow in a rematch against the Cardinals. This time it will be at the Cardinals spring training home in Jupiter.
