Ricky Nolasco must be happy with his $2.4 million deal. He avoided going to the table and he’s set for a big year. Now Nolasco has his eyes set on another goal, and that’s becoming the Marlins opening day starter. I like the idea, and it’s kind of funny that Nolasco is the old man on the rotation right now. At the venerable age of 26, he headlines a list of starters who are just a few years out of the minors.
My son was pretty happy with the catcher’s equipment we got him. He’s been breaking it in and he should be all set for the early season to start down here. We also got him a nice baseball equipment bag that he’s been lugging everything around him. Both items were picked up at Baseball Rampage.
