The Marlins had their share of offense but it was Cameron Maybin who was notch above the rest. He belted two homers and had a team high four RBIs in the Marlins 13-7 win. Luis Gonzalez belted a three run shot while Hanley Ramirez had a monster game with three hits, a walk, two runs and two RBIs.
Gaby Hernandez had a tough start but the hitters picked him up. He gave up six runs (three earned) in three innings. Chris Volstad did a nice job though and he pitched four shutout innings of relief to get the Marlins back into the game.
Tonight’s game is at night so I’m hoping to at listen to it. Mark Hendrickson will get the start against the Nationals.
