Alfredo Amezaga Picks Up Three Hits In Marlins Tie With Cardinals

by @ 6:30 pm. Filed under 2008 Marlins

The Marlins and Cardinals player to a 2-2 tie today and it was Ricky Nolasco who got it done on the mound.  He gave up just a single run on two hits and two walks with three strikeouts in five innings.  Scott Olsen was impressive as well with three shutout innings of relief.

Alfredo Amezaga was the hitting star.  He finished three for five with a run and an RBI.  No other Marlins reached base more then once.

Andrew Miller gets the start tomorrow against the Astros.  A lot of people think he’ll be the opening day starter but he has two more starts to make or break that decision.
